Ra Brands proudly supports the environment. In fact, our signature product, the Ra Towel tm, helps save thousands of gallons of water a year by encouraging users to forgo extra terry cloth towels and reuse their personal Ra Towel tm. Ra Brands supports renewable energy sources and has made it our goal to develop products packaged only through renewable sources. For example, Ra Brands packaging:
- Obtains all of its electrical energy through wind power. That's right: every carton manufactured for Ra is made with 100% renewable and pollution-free energy. Utilizing reusable plastic pallets in all plant operations.
- We recycle over 99% of paperboard waste into bails which are used to make new Ra packages.
- Our printing uses soy-based inks which have a 40% fewer VOC's than conventional inks and are comprised of 100% natural and renewable oils.
- Ra uses ethanol instead of alcohol in printing all of our packages to reduce VOC's and to use a renewable resource.
- Our packages are biodegradable. We encourage recycling.
